Getting started with the Jolla Mind2

Initial setup

Important

Start by following the Info Flyer included in the box of your Jolla Mind 2. If yours is a newer revision of the Flyer, use it instead of the one linked below:

If you run into any problems, join the Official Jolla Mind 2 Discord  and ask for help in the Support Channel there.

Messaging Center

Currently only new Emails are added.

The Messaging Center provides an overview of all the emails that you recently got. It will provide a summarization of every Email and tag them into a category. It also provides you with an option to respond to the email.

Adding an email Account to the Jolla Mind 2

Only SMTP & IMAP are supported at the moment.

Open the Messaging Center in the web GUI

Click on "Add Account+" in the top right corner

Configure it from the options

If you are using 2FA or an Passkey for your Mail Account you will need to use an App Password for this.

  • Link existing account ?
  • New account Select your email Provider from the Drop-down or set it up manually
  • Set up manually Enter your mail server configuration (check for the IMAP and SMTP fields what your email provider suggests).

Click on Add to finish the setup of a new Mail Account

Documents

There are still some known issues take a look at them here .

Only PDF & TXT files are supported at the moment.

The Processing of files may take some time, you can view the progress from the view where you uploaded the file.

Upload a document: Chat Window -> click on 📎 -> drag a document here / select one.
Chat with a document: Enable Memory via the switch in the chat Window and start asking.
Look at a document: Go to Documents -> hover over a document -> click on the arrow on the right.
